August may not shout, but it speaks.
In a business world driven by launches and deadlines, August steps in like a breath of warm air. It softens the pace - inboxes slow down, calls are fewer, and some of us, myself included, take a moment to pause. But while many take time to recharge, our team at Clock quietly shipped another update. No fanfare, no fireworks. Just a collection of more than 30 small, thoughtful improvements that make the everyday work of hoteliers easier, faster, and more intuitive.
And perhaps that’s the real headline: useful progress, even in the quiet moments.
There is no headlining feature this time, but the update is full of upgrades designed to polish and simplify. Small fixes that eliminate friction. Interface adjustments that reduce clicks. Tweaks that help you do the same job with less effort.
Hoteliers will find improvements in:
And that’s just a sample. What this release lacks in drama, it makes up for in practicality. It simply makes Clock easier to use.
While August invites most people to relax, it’s also the month of our annual PCI DSS audit. For a few full days, a team of auditors visits our office and reviews our platform almost line by line, service by service - meeting with our developers and security experts to validate our infrastructure.
This year marks the seventh consecutive time we’ve completed the process successfully - maintaining a "bank-level" security certification. A testament to the continuous efforts of our team and our unwavering commitment to the safety of your data.
This edition also marks a quiet anniversary of a different kind. It’s been a full year since Nina Soldo, our Brand Director, first asked me to start this blog. I wasn’t sure about it back then. But twelve months later, these monthly letters have become a welcome ritual.
Together, they have captured the rhythm of a year in the life of Clock. A rhythm that includes loud moments like major feature launches or big partnerships, and quieter beats like this one - small improvements, audits passed, promises kept.
At the end of August, we will be parting ways with Nina who has been leading our brand marketing and the main responsible for these monthly blogs, who is moving on to her next adventure. I want to take this opportunity to thank her for the voice and spirit she brought into Clock, and for helping us share our story more clearly with the world. Wherever her next destination is, I know it will benefit from her energy, her ideas, and her warmth.
In hospitality, quiet doesn’t mean idle. The best service is often invisible. The best tech is often quiet. And the best months are not always the loudest.
August reminds us that progress doesn't always come with a bang. Sometimes it arrives gently - in the form of a more comfortable interface, a better way to manage data, or a safer way to operate.
To all of you making the most of the quiet season or managing the buzz of late-summer guests, we hope this update brings ease to your work.
See you next month,
Krasimir
