E-signature for registration cards

• The new e-signature function allows registration cards to be signed on a device screen. This environmentally friendly option saves time while ensuring the hotel still has all cards signed as required.
• Signing is easiest with a stylus on a tablet, but a mouse and a desktop PC or a touchpad of a laptop computer can also be used.
• The e-signature can be used in various cases, including in the Self service portal:

E-signature for bills

• This new function allows modern paperless management of hotel credit bills, as well as any other bills.
• POS bills do not have to be printed out to be signed for Reception. They can be signed at any moment (before or after they have been closed). In case of audits or misunderstanding with a guest, the the bill containing the e-signature can always be used as an electronic proof.
• The e-signature is also useful in events and other credit bills.
• To sign a bill, open it, go to the Setup screen, click Signature in the bottom part of the bill preview. If it has already been signed, just type on the signature itself to sign it again.

• Added new report: Charge Summary Report. It is similar to the one in Clock PMS and can also be run for more than one account.
• Not paid bills are added to the closure, in a separate section.
• Voided payments can leave bills unpaid. For full operations control, beside the control events for such cases, we have added a special section for such bills in the closure report.
• The unpaid bills screen also has a new column for unpaid amounts, so such bills can be identified there fast.
• More instruments for managing unpaid bills (credit bills) in Clock POS coming soon.

• Marketing segments - Marketing Source, Marketing Channel.
• Field 'Received By' has been replaced with two new fields: Marketing Source and Marketing Channel.
• The Charge Segmentation report and the Bed Nights report can use the two new fields to segment data.
• The values of both fields can be typed in for every booking, or selected from lists defined in Settings – Marketing Sources/Channels.

Integration with the Hotel

The integration between Clock POS and Clock PMS has been optimized for better servicing of hotel guests in restaurants and for better organization of room service.

• The transfer destination folio is now selected first in the bill
• Sometimes hotel guests think their bill is settled and leave the restaurant without informing the staff. Waiters do not remember their room number and bills cannot be transferred. The new function allows the room to be selected at any moment while the bill is open. At the end, the transfer is authorized with a single button.

• Added length of stay, room, price and balance to the printout of the registration card.
• Optimized the housekeeping screen. Now it allows easy change of room status. Also added a new housekeeping message and warning.
• The confirmation letter text can now be arranged in paragraphs.
• ParityRate – the automated transfer checks for overdue payments to confirm that the subscription is active.
• Notifications instead of To-do tasks. A certain number of operations which generated To-do tasks, which did not require any action by the user, now generate notifications. They are shown on the desktop and are displayed for two days.
• Fixed the fast booking search. All months are now selectable in the combo box.

• WRS: booking more than one room at a time
• The function is designed mainly for the needs of families or smaller groups that may need to book more than one room at once.
• You can make a booking for consecutive stays: guests book a room and specify two stays interrupted by a interval, e.g. when making a return/round trip.
• You can book rooms of different types (or numbers), different periods, different number of guests and different rates. The price is calculated precisely for each room.
• The only restriction here refers to rates with different guarantee policies. Since the system cannot decide for the user what guarantee to use for such a group booking, different guarantee policies cannot be mixed.
• One confirmation: multiple-room bookings are confirmed with a single confirmation letter, which includes information for all the rooms.
• One payment: if the booking guarantee requires an online payment, only one payment is made for the total amount of the guarantee deposits.
• One deposit: the online payment is added as a single deposit in the first booking.
• Each room is given access to the Self Service portal (as usual, with the confirmation letter), so if needed each room can be cancelled separately.

• The bar/kitchen receipts can now be printed out by several printers. Each kitchen can be linked to more than one printer.
• This allows the chef to track all orders on a separate printer.
• Orders can also be printed out in their entirety in different kitchens (e.g. hot and cold kitchen), so the staff can synchronise the preparation of the different dishes.

• Added new setting, which can make the sub-payment type required for payments.

Introducing Clock POS, designed for restaurants and based on open bills for tables. Clock POS accounts are created within the same subscription as Clock PMS. They share users and access to accounts is managed with special access rights.

• The tables in Clock POS are organized in sectors and can host more than one bill.
• The items in Clock POS are sorted in stores and groups and are selected from a menu. When ordered, they can be modified with modifiers and special instructions to the kitchen.
• Menu items can be ordered in whole numbers or in fractions and paid in one or more payment methods (split payments). Bills can also be transferred to folios in Clock PMS.
• Discounts are also supported.
• Items on a bill can be voided and moved between bills. Bills can be split and moved between tables. Closed bills can be voided.
• Receipts can be printed and reprinted. The system uses Epson TM-i printers.
• Two types of closures are supported – user and day end.
