May always feels like the month when the year truly begins to bloom. Nature is no longer cautious—trees are in full leaf, days are long and bright, and the air smells like plans that are ready to unfold. It’s the month that dares to believe summer is on its way.
For us at Clock, May carried that same feeling: forward motion, clarity, and a string of purposeful updates that reflect our long-term commitment to building not just features, but tools that make your everyday hotel operations more effective.
Better, faster, clearer: small improvements, big difference
This month, we focused on refinements that may seem small at first glance but go a long way in making your daily work smoother, quicker, and more accurate. Here are some of the most practical new additions:
Multi-folio view
Long requested and now finally here—the multi-folio view gives you full visibility over all folios associated with a booking, group, event or company, grouped clearly for easier management. This update tackles a frequent challenge in hotel operations: managing who pays for what, particularly in business travel and event scenarios.
When organisers, companies, or individuals need to split charges—room rates, extras, or services—across different parties, clarity and control are essential. While such folio splitting and transfers have always been possible, the new multi-folio view makes the entire process far more visual and intuitive. Hotel staff can now spot potential errors more easily, execute transfers more confidently, and manage complex billing setups faster and more accurately. Whether you’re working with group reservations or individual business travellers whose companies only cover part of their expenses, this improvement delivers value every day.
Room calendar – show best available rates
With the new display of Best Available Rates (BAR) directly in the room calendar, your staff can now instantly view and communicate stay prices without switching screens. This is especially beneficial for hotels that use the calendar as their primary operational tool—roughly 25% of our customers, particularly those with up to 30 rooms.
This improvement is more than just a rate display. It’s a crucial step towards a seamless workflow that connects rate visibility, room availability, and reservation creation in a single, fluid interface for those hoteliers. Together with the upcoming revamped Rates & Availability and Booking screens, this will enable staff to identify and present suitable offers and packages (not just the BAR as with this update)—and book them—without leaving the calendar.
This holistic approach ensures that hoteliers who prefer the calendar as their central hub enjoy a more natural, efficient way of working. And for those who start from the rates screen, improvements are coming your way too.
Discount codes
We’ve introduced support for promo and discount codes that can be entered directly into the booking process. Unlike static discounts, this allows hoteliers to design and manage targeted pricing / discount campaigns or loyalty programmes more effectively. Codes can be shared with specific guest segments—currently companies, and soon event attendees and repeat guests—and applied both in the booking engine and at the front desk.
You can now define specific discount rules that apply to the total bill or just to a specific revenue group (e.g. accommodation only). We take care of the rest, applying the discount automatically to save time, reduce manual errors, and ensure consistency in your promotional offers.
It’s a simple yet powerful way to increase direct bookings and reward loyal customers, all while streamlining your internal processes.
Just getting better, every month
There are more than a dozen other small tweaks and improvements designed to add capabilities and improve your experience—from clearer payment records in folios to smarter deposit notifications. Most of these enhancements were inspired by the feedback you’ve shared with us—thank you for continuing to shape the future of our solutions.
Public roadmap – transparency for the future
We have always developed our solutions based on two guiding stars: your feedback and our vision of what better hospitality technology can look like. However, until now, you only found out what we were building once we released it.
But not anymore. We’ve made our product roadmap public.
Now you can check what we’re working on—at least for the more significant features—and even vote on what matters most to you. You’ll see what’s under development, what’s being considered, and what’s just around the corner.

Of course, some smaller improvements won’t be listed, and plans may evolve. But you’ll now have a clearer view of what’s ahead, and we hope that brings even more alignment between your needs and our work.
So here’s to May: the month where things start looking ready for the busy season ahead. We hope the updates make your days a little easier, your team a little faster, and your guests a little happier.
Until next month,
Krasimir
